Kazoo Band 50/50 Raffle

Some may know and others may not, but our Tri-Toms (the drums Kevin plays) are falling apart. We got them for free and have been repairing them for years. Also our cymbals are popping, and not well either, they too are very old. We are also interested in a new snare drum. SOOOOOO since our drummers give us the street beat that everyone loves it is time to upgrade and we need your help!!!

The core team has gotten together to try to figure out how to get the money as this is not a cheap venture. So we came up with a 50/50 Raffle. We had booklets of raffle tickets printed up. They are in sets of ten tickets each. Each ticket is $1, a book is $10. Each booklet is controlled with a set of numbers. We ask if you could all please take at least ONE booklet and sell the tickets. The core group and some of the kazooers have already been selling these, but need your help!! Steve Hess our NEW TREASURE (I retired) is controlling all booklets and ticket numbers. If you take a booklet your booklet number is noted, this is ALL legal and under control. If you take a booklet you are responsible for the tickets ($10). You can either sell the booklet or keep for yourself. We will need all money for booklets returned by the beginning of September since the drawing will be Sept. 17th (1/2 way to St. Patrick's Day). Can You HELP sell tickets?? This will avoid dues increase.

SOOO if you want a book we are even willing to deliver in the triple cities ... NO Homer girls, we are not driving there ... the Core Team will be having their monthly meeting the FIRST THURSDAY of August (the 7th) at the Blind Tiger Pub at 6:00 and you can come and pick up a booklet at Blind Tiger.

HELP us get our street beat back and sell a booklet of Raffle Tickets, if you each take ONE booklet you will HELP!!!

The drawing is only weeks away !!!

The cost is $22.00 a seat plus $8.00 entry fee ( Group Rate ). If you are kilted and taking part in the Noon massed bands the $8.00 is waived by Hunter.

Come cheer your band on and have a great time.
