Field Days Parade Wrap Up

I just wanted to thank ALL those brave Kazooers that came out in that gawd-awful heat and marched on Sat.!!!! There was only one wimp ass that did not make it to the end and had to be transported via Fire Engine .... yes wise ones ... it was me!!!

I also want to THANK Gary and Nancy Youmans for having the pre-parade gig at their place, we all got to meet the dog and the boys, and Nancy ran around cooking dogs!! (not theirs)

She had lots of treats and things!! There were even some jello shots and a yummy cookie tray being passed around by the "blond girl crew"- who by the way are at every parade!!

And you have to love Carol Hall who marched in her LONG sleeve shirt playing the bells, she wanted to keep in uniform!!! Carol we love you!!

We hope for those who marched that they had a good time ... Thanks Kazooers who marched and helped carry the banners and the flags!!!!

I did make one suggestion to the president of the parade committee, if it is that hot next year they NEED to have water stations, which he said he was VERY happy for feedback and it will be addressed at their first meeting.

By the way the $3.00 clams at the tent were a steal and very YUMMY !!! Along with great pipe band playing!

Once the band invaded Youmans I heard this .... One of their neighbors I happened to overhear said, "geeze have you ever seen so much green in one place" which I of course responded " ahhh you have never been to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Binghamton"

THANKS NANCY AND GATY FOR HAVING US!!!
